FREQUENTLY-ASKED QUESTIONS

What do I do if the cost of attending is prohibitive to my attending the reunion? Please reach out to us at alonimevents@aju.edu if the cost of a ticket would mean you would not be financially able to attend your CIT Reunion. We want every Alonimer to be able to return to Peppertree Lane for their reunion and will work with you to ensure attending the reunion is financially viable for you. We encourage attendees who are able to contribute to support their fellow CITs who may need assistance by adding the $25 “Sponsor Half a Ticket for a Fellow CIT” to their cart to contribute to our ability to welcome every Alonimer back to their camp reunion this summer.

Do Alonimers still wear all-white clothing on Shabbat? Yes. Guests visiting on Shabbat should wear white clothing. White shorts are fine. Belts and shoes do not have to be white.

What do I do if I can’t arrive by 4:30? Arrive whenever you can. Just follow the signs to park in the parking lot behind Fligelman and walk up to camp.

Can I arrive early? We appreciate your eagerness to spend time at camp, but we ask that you not arrive early.

Where do I sit for services? There will be open seats for guests at the back of the all camp services.

Why aren’t services being held in the Rec Hall? The Rec Hall is too small to fit the number of campers who now attend camp, not to mention everyone who is visiting. The Rec Hall is still used for camp programs and activities.

Where do I sit for dinner? There will be reserved tables for guests in the old Dining Hall.

Can I visit a bunk or see the CIT area while I’m at camp? We ask that you not enter places where our campers, CITs, or staff members reside.

Is Shabbat at Camp Alonim a wondrous experience that we can’t wait to share with you? It sure is!
