Become an Alonim Ambassador

The Ambassador program is a partnership between Camp Alonim and Alonim families with the following goals:

• Identify potential Alonim families in the community
• Educate new families about the mission, goals and benefits of Camp Alonim
• Host a parlor meeting to help recruit new families, or bring interested families to an Open House at camp.

Once a family agrees to be a Camp Alonim Ambassador, they will:

• Attend a brief online Camp Ambassador training conference call.
• Take an active role in cultivating potential camper leads within their schools, synagogues and local communities.
• Serve as liaisons between Camp Alonim and prospective camp families, making themselves available to discuss the benefits of camp and ways to become involved in the camp program.
• Establish the initial contact with prospective camp families and be available for informal, personal meetings to discuss Alonim programs, facilities, etc.
• Host and invite prospective families to an information session in their home. This is an opportunity for families to gather together with an Alonim Director to view Camp Alonim videos and get more information about day or overnight camp.

We realize that spreading the word about camp and advocating for something you are passionate about is rewarding in itself! However, we want to make sure the ambassadors know just how valuable they are to the success of Camp Alonim!

Camp Alonim Referrals

• An ambassador family will receive $100 off their family’s summer tuition for each new camper that signs up for Camp Alonim Summer 2020 as a result of their efforts.
• A $50 credit for Alonim merchandise for each of the Ambassador families’ Alonim campers, when a new camper signs up for overnight camp as a result of the family’s efforts. This credit can be redeemed for camp merchandise for the summer of 2020.

Gan Alonim Day Camp Referrals

• An Ambassador family will receive $20 off their family’s summer tuition for each new camper that signs up for Gan Alonim Day Camp Summer 2020 as a result of their efforts.
• A $10 credit for Alonim merchandise for each of the Ambassador families’ Alonim or Gan Alonim campers, when a new camper signs up for Gan Alonim Day Camp as a result of the family’s efforts. This credit can be redeemed for camp merchandise for the summer of 2020.
